The typical adult dose is 100โ300ย mg once daily, gradually increased to 300โ600ย mg or up to 900ย mg as needed to maintain normal uric acid levels. Start with a lower dose and increase after one week. Drink plenty of water and continue taking the tablets even during an acute attack.
